The Big Church Conference South Wales 2026

There's no big church and there's no small church. But there's a Big Church when we come together: The commonwealth of Zion, the church of the Most High.

The Big Church Conference is a gathering of Christians in South Wales to meet and pray for the salvation of the region and to promote cross denominational collaboration and explore various ways we can work together to foster the spread of the gospel in Wales and the United Kingdom. This Conference is also Pivotal to intergenerational transfer of knowledge and wisdom from the older generation to the younger.

The maiden edition in 2025 was not just the first, it was a solid foundation that proved that the purpose of the conference was valid and inspired. We witnessed Christians from over 20 churches in south Wales worship, pray, chat and engage with the panel session which comprised of leaders from 6 Churches and Christian organisations. The purpose of the maiden edition was to break the barriers churches face in collaborating with one another.

The theme for this year's conference is United in Mission: Different ways, one Purpose. We want to explore the different ways different Churches and Christian organisations carry out mission work within communities and to see how Christians can further learn from each other's work, collaborate, and support the growth of missions in South Wales.

The conference will include Prayers, cross-denominational choir ministration, and a Panel session consisting of various Church and Christian organisation leaders, a question-and-answer session, networking, meet and greet, to achieve the objective of the conference.

The conference is scheduled for Saturday 28th November 2026, 4pm-7pm at Waterfront Church, Langdon Road Swansea. SA1 8QY.

Panel Session

Leaders and representatives from up to 6 churches and 2 student Christian associations sharing wisdom and insights.

Joint Choir Ministration

Experience powerful worship as churches come together in unified praise and celebration.

About the Organisers

The Big Church Conference South Wales is organised by Christ Community Global and The Big Church Conference Committee. Both Groups are cross-denominational, involving volunteers from up to 15 different churches in South Wales, with the goal of promoting cross-denominational activities to advance the course of the Gospel in the United Kingdom and the World at large.

We believe in a united body of Christ, as the scripture says in Ephesians 4:4-5"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."

We believe that denomination is not an excuse for disunity. In recent years we have organised cross-denominational missions which include 10 Welsh Cities for Christ, where we took the gospel across cities and towns in Wales, 100 believers to Cardiff, and Preachers of Wales; a community dedicated to promoting evangelism activities in Wales.

We continue to strive for more collaboration between denominations believing strongly that our collaborative effort provides a strong biblical effect.

Christ community also runs other missions and meetings which includes intercessory prayers for Soul winning in Wales, Free Bible Project and Mission aid for Independent Missionaries across the World.
